Global Voices seeks to celebrate the full diversity of the ISSWSH community by highlighting members across:

We believe the strength of ISSWSH lies in the many voices, experiences, and backgrounds that come together in pursuit of a common mission.

Through this initiative, we aim to:

• Celebrate the diverse contributions of ISSWSH members.
• Share inspiring personal and professional stories.
• Highlight innovation, mentorship, education, advocacy, research, and clinical excellence.
• Foster meaningful connections across disciplines and around the world.
• Inspire the next generation of leaders in women's sexual health.
• Strengthen our global ISSWSH community through storytelling.

Any current ISSWSH member may be nominated, including:

• Physicians
• Advanced Practice Providers
• Nurses
• Physical Therapists
• Occupational Therapists
• Psychologists
• Sex Therapists
• Mental Health Professionals
• Researchers
• Educators
• Students, Residents, and Fellows
• Patient Advocates
• Other professionals advancing women's sexual health

Self-nominations are also welcome.

Nominations are accepted throughout the year and reviewed on a quarterly basis by the ISSWSH Membership Outreach Committee.

At the conclusion of each quarter, March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, the Committee will review and score all nominations received during that quarter. While our goal is to celebrate the achievements of all nominated members throughout the year, one individual will be selected each quarter to receive the Global Voices in Women's Sexual Health Recognition Award.

Quarterly award recipients will be announced in ISSWSH Pulse, the Society's quarterly newsletter, and all four quarterly honorees will be formally recognized during the ISSWSH Annual Meeting.

Selection is based not only on professional accomplishments, but also on meaningful impact, engagement, service, leadership, mentorship, innovation, education, advocacy, and contributions to the ISSWSH community.

Annual Timeline

How it works:

• Quarter 1 (January to March): Nominations are accepted throughout the quarter. At the beginning to mid-April, the Committee reviews and scores all submissions. The Quarter 1 Global Voice recipient is announced in the July 1 issue of ISSWSH Pulse.
• Quarter 2 (April to June): Nominations are collected and reviewed at the beginning to mid-July. The Quarter 2 recipient is announced in the October 1 issue of ISSWSH Pulse.
• Quarter 3 (July to September): Nominations are collected and reviewed at the beginning to mid-October. The Quarter 3 recipient is announced in the January 1 issue of ISSWSH Pulse.
• Quarter 4 (October to December): Nominations are collected and reviewed at the beginning to mid-January. The Quarter 4 recipient is announced in the April 1 issue of ISSWSH Pulse.

We encourage members to submit nominations throughout the year and help us celebrate the remarkable individuals advancing women's sexual health around the world.
