Over the next ten years, she grew the business to become a multi-specialty women’s health-focused group practice. In 2012, Dr. Larkin acted on her vision and sold her practice to UC Health to design, develop, open and serve as Director of the UC Health Women’s Center, the region’s first comprehensive, primary care-directed, medical home for women. As of December 2015, the UC Health Women’s Center included the services of over 60 primary care and specialist physicians, and had an average monthly visit volume of 4000 patients. She is a tireless advocate for patient and physician education, especially in the field of women’s health, menopause and perimenopause. She has been a certified menopause clinician by NAMS since 2001, serves on the boards of both NAMS and ISSWH, provides consultation to numerous pharmaceutical and medical device organizations including the US FDA, and has provided countless hours of teaching and community lectures on women’s health related topics.
